
Anca Prisacariu has been working as a quality assurance expert for the past 17 years.
Internally, she served as Quality Assurance Director in higher and vocational education institutions in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, where her role covered the implementation of the quality assurance strategy, the coordination of the areas of governance and policy management, coordinating the strategic planning process and supporting the enhancement of teaching and learning.
Externally, she is working with international organisations for higher education, where she has been part of more than 50 panels reviewing study programs, higher education institutions, and quality assurance agencies across Europe and outside of it. She is also a lead consultant supporting different quality assurance agencies in developing or revising their standard frameworks for external quality assurance.
Anca served as Advisor to the Minister of Education in Romania and is now the Quality Assurance Director at the American Institute of Applied Sciences in Switzerland. She has been engaged in the ESG revision process, both in 2015 as well as during the current revision.
Academically, Anca holds a Ph.D. in Education, focused on quality assurance and accreditation systems, and was a Research Fellow at the Institute of Behavioural Sciences at the University of Helsinki.
