On Thursday, January 14, 2021 members of the NAQA Advisory Board first met with NAQA representatives. During the meeting, the Head of the NAQA Serhiy Kvit presented the NAQA 2020 annual report, as well as the Self-Assessment Report, prepared by NAQA according to the ENQA guidelines. After the presentation, the reports and the NAQA activity during last wo years were discussed. International experts commended the work and the achievements of NAQA, asked questions and provided feedback on the improvement of certain processes and procedures.
NAQA Vice Head Nataliia Stukalo welcomed and introduced the Advisory Board members. All members of the Advisory Board were present at the meeting, which was quite difficult, as the time difference between some members of the Advisory Board is 12 hours. Each member of the Advisory Board had the opportunity to present themselves. At the end of the meeting, the Head of NAQA Secretariat Mychailo Wynnyckyj made a final report outlining three key areas in which NAQA requires an international advisory support: introducing institutional accreditation, academic integrity and PhD reform.
NAQA Advisory Board was established by NAQA decision of November 17, 2020, and its personal composition was approved on December 28, 2020. The Advisory Board consists of leading foreign experts who are recognized experts in the field of higher education quality assurance and academic integrity, have significant experience in foreign accreditations and expertise.
