On official registration of the study programme

Dear colleagues,
As you may know Ukraine recognizes certificates of accreditation of study programmes issued by foreign accreditation agencies.
According to the Law of Ukraine on Higher Education, Ukrainian higher educational institutions (HEIs) may choose an EQAR-registered agency listed in the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 554-p dated July 10, 2019 (https://zakon.rada.gov.ua/laws/show/554-2019-%D1%80#Text) to conduct study programme accreditation at their institution. The decisions (accreditation certificates) of these foreign agencies are recognised as equivalent to accreditation by the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA).

Ukrainian HEIs actively use this opportunity and accredit their study programmes abroad.
However, there are cases when Ukrainian higher education institutions submit for foreign accreditation those study programmes that are not officially registered in the Unified State Electronic Database for Education of Ukraine. NAQA kindly draws your attention to such cases and warns against accreditation for study programmes that are not officially registered in Ukraine. The Unified State Electronic Database for Education (https://info.edbo.gov.ua/) is an open web source (in Ukrainian only) that contains information on all HEIs of Ukraine including the study programmes offered in such HEIs, licence, students etc.
You can check the information there or contact NAQA via email international@naqa.gov.ua in case you need any information or have other questions.
The general information on cross-border quality assurance was published earlier on NAQA web-site.
Looking forward to the fruitful collaboration.
