From 31 May to 1 June, a seminar organised by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA) and hosted by Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation of Higher Education (AQAS) took place in Cologne, Germany. From NAQA side the event was attended by NAQA Vice-Head Nataliia Stukalo.
Seminar was designed for agencies preparing for an external ESG-2015 compliance review and aims to detail the review process, the updated review methodology of ENQA Agency Reviews (2021), and the new ENQA Targeted Reviews methodology (2021). In addition, the seminar provided an excellent opportunity to learn from the experience of those agencies that have already successfully passed the relevant ENQA procedure.
The event also included a discussion of the best ways to use the results of external reviews in the further development and improvement of agencies.
ENQA President Douglas Blackstock, as well as the leadership of the German agency AQAS, stressed the importance of NAQA’s participation in this seminar, as they see Ukraine as an equal partner and believe that the experience gained will have a high-quality impact on the further development of Ukrainian higher education and its integration into the European quality assurance system.
NAQA greatly appreciates the support of foreign partners and will continue to work actively to gain full membership in ENQA.
