NAQA’s strategic session took place on June 7. NAQA members have started working on the formation of new vectors for the development of the external higher education quality assurance system and on further improvement of already functioning processes. A number of important issues should be resolved, in order to improve the accreditation processes, as well as, support the creation of specialised academic councils. An important challenge today is to formulate proposals for improving Ukrainian educational legislation to fully comply with the recommendations and practices of the European higher education area.
Also during the meeting, NAQA members discussed long-term perspective measures aimed at NAQA full membership in ENQA, which will help to increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian higher education institutions.
