On June 9, the webinar “Best practices to overcome the challenges of wartime in the process of external higher education quality assurance” took place. The event was organised by NAQA for guarantors of study programmes in higher education institutions of Ivano-Frankivsk region and Kherson State University, which is temporarily based in Ivano-Frankivsk due to a full-scale russian invasion.
Maksym Karpash, NAQA trainer, moderated the event. NAQA Head Andrii Butenko, NAQA Vice-Heads: Ivan Nazarov and Olena Yeremenko and Head of the Study Programmes Accreditation Department Hanna Denyskina were the speakers.
During the webinar participants discussed the functioning of the internal quality assurance systems in wartime, coverage and evaluation of institutional criteria during study programmes accreditation. They also analysed the legal regulation of accreditation processes in wartime and provided useful practical advice to participants on the accurate design of self-assessment information.
The event went successfully, continuing a series of similar webinars for higher education institutions.
