On July 8, NAQA signed the Memorandum on cooperation with the Ukrainian Institute of Scientific and Technical Expertise and Information (UkrlSTEI). The representatives of UkrlSTEI were Volodymyr Kamyshyn, acting director, and Olexii Sukhyi, deputy director for scientific and information work.
During this meeting, NAQA discussed the possibility of using the Ukrainian database of research, development works and theses when checking for the plagiarism; as well as the mechanism of publication of the PhD thesis text before defense of the thesis and the technical features of using the UkrlSTEI database.
The signing of the Memorandum on Cooperation is an important step for NAQA in its activities on ensuring the respect for academic integrity principles.
