On October 27-28, the ENQA General Assembly Plenaries took place. NAQA was represented by Vice-Head Nataliia Stukalo. On Thursday the participants explored the principles and approaches to the quality assurance of transnational higher education, discussed the challenges and opportunities of harmonising quality assurance approaches in different regions of the world. On Friday, Plenary dealt with quality assurance of e-learning, due to the shift to online learning and teaching during the Covid-19 pandemic and general developments in digital education.
The European policy developments and the initiatives of some European regions to sign treaties allowing for automatic mutual recognition of higher education degree were also overviewed. The participants considered the future of the European quality assurance framework ESG 2015 and the role of QA agencies in supporting academic integrity.
