On November 3, the “Ukrainian Studies: Go Global” conference was held at the initiative of the Fund of the President of Ukraine for Support of Education, Science and Sports. The conference was devoted to the study and the discussion of best practices in the development of Ukrainian studies and the popularization of Ukrainian culture, science, economy, and politics as research topics.
NAQA Vice-Head Nataliia Stukalo had the opportunity to make an opening speech and greet the conference participants on behalf of NAQA. The speaker emphasized the relevance of the project on the global development of Ukrainian studies, providing several interesting examples from her experience of participation in international events to prove her opinion.
Nataliia Stukalo accentuated that implementing such a large-scale project is not an easy task, but with joint efforts, it will be possible to fulfill it at the highest level. NAQA will support and promote the “Ukrainian Studies: Go Global” project.
During the conference, the best practices of Ukrainian studies were presented. The state and prospects of Ukrainian research in the international arena were discussed during the panel discussion. The presentation of the interactive map of 160 Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar Studies abroad delivered by the Ukrainian Institute was useful and meaningful. The final conference discussion was devoted to reflections on what intellectual product Ukrainians can export to the world.
