NAQA and the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) held a joint webinar

On December 8, NAQA and the Accreditation Organisation of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO) held a joint webinar.

NAQA team delivered a presentation on the digitization of external quality assurance processes in the agency, while colleagues from NVAO shared their experience of passing ENQA reviews.

NAQA Vice Head Nataliia Stukalo gave an opening speech, outlining the main tasks of the agency’s digitization process, including implementing the concept of a paperless office as a part of achieving ESG goals.

Vice head of NAQA secretariat Oleksandra Osiiuk and the head of the public relations and international cooperation department Albina Tsiatkovska revealed the details of NAQA’s digital system functioning.
The speakers demonstrated what the digital aspect of the accreditation process looks like for higher education institutions of Ukraine: from applying for accreditation to receiving a certificate.

NVAO colleagues talked about the successful passing of ENQA review. All member agencies of the organization must undergo this review. Its successful completion is a sign of the quality of the agency’s work. Therefore, NAQA was particularly interested in the experience of colleagues, which they kindly shared in detail.

The webinar was definitely useful for agencies. Both parties gained new knowledge that will be helpful in the further development of national education quality assurance systems.

The participants of the meeting expressed their expectancies to continue cooperation both within international organizations for higher education quality assurance and bilaterally. Colleagues from NVAO have supported NAQA in its ongoing commitment to assure the quality of education in such a challenging time. The meeting ended on a rather optimistic note – hopes for a future meeting between the agencies in peaceful Kyiv.
