The event was organized by NAQA together with QAA and USAID for the exchange of experience between scientists and practitioners of Great Britain and Ukraine working on law education standards.
NAQA Head Andrii Butenko gave an opening speech, emphasizing the value of international sectoral cooperation as part of improving the quality of higher education. NAQA Vice-Head Ivan Nazarov presented an overview of the results of law study programmes accreditation. The speaker talked about NAQA role in the development of higher education standards and their evaluation criteria, as well as the problems of non-compliance with the standards during the accreditation of law study programmes.
During the event, colleagues from QAA and USAID shared their experiences. Participants discussed different approaches to developing and changing law educational standards, related challenges and opportunities for continuous learning and improvement.
