On January 26, the webinar “SMART-approach in external quality assurance of higher education” was held for experts and members of sectoral expert councils of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance.
The speakers of the event were Nataliia Stukalo, NAQA Vice Head,
Hanna Deniskina, head of the accreditation department and Oksana Trebenko, leading expert of the experts department. During the webinar, the SMART approach to the recommendations formation by experts and members of sectoral expert councils was discussed in detail, specific examples of the recommendations creation for higher education institutions were discussed, and the acquired knowledge was implemented in the practical part of the webinar.
The correct formulation of recommendations for higher education institutions will have a positive effect on the external quality assurance of higher education, as clear and comprehensible recommendations is the first step to their successful implementation. Continuous development and compliance with European standards are key values of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, that is why this webinar is important for improving the qualifications of experts and members of sectoral expert councils, and thus improving the accreditation process.
