On March 1, 2023, the online forum “Internationalization as a measure of the quality of education” was held, organized by the National University “Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic” with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, and the National Qualifications Agency.
In the plenary part of the forum, NAQA Head Andrii Butenko, spoke about the role of internationalization of Ukrainian education in modern war conditions. The speaker also analyzed NAQA activities for the compliance of education quality assurance in Ukraine with international practices and requirements.
Oleksandr Dluhopolskyi, NAQA member, presented a report on “Development of an expert environment for evaluating the quality of higher education in Ukraine”, drawing attention to its importance in the process of internationalization. Olena Kolesnikova, NAQA member, spoke about European integration prospects for Ukrainian education and the view of employers. Ihor Lyman, the head of the SEC in the sector 03 “Humanities” analyzed the practical possibilities of cooperation of HEIs with the COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) organization. The speaker noted that this organization helps to unite research initiatives in Europe and beyond and allows scientists to develop their ideas in any field of science and technology.
In general, the speakers provided practical information necessary to ensure the quality of educational activities in the plane of European integration, which in the future will allow HEIs to organize the educational process based on modern trends in the development of the quality of education.
