On March 2, 2023, NAQA Head Andrii Butenko, remotely participated in the strategic session for the heads of higher education institutions, which was held on the basis of the Yurii Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.
The event was initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with the participation of representatives of the educational community, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, MPs, the National Qualifications Agency, the State Education Quality Service of Ukraine, and international organizations.
In his speech, Andrii Butenko analyzed the role of internal quality systems in formation of the university’s strategy. The speaker emphasized that the presence of effective internal quality assurance is not just one of the accreditation criteria, it is an effective mechanism for constantly maintaining the quality of study programmes and making effective and balanced strategic decisions in higher education institutions.
