The participants of the webinar “Functioning and accreditation of study programmes in art specialties” listened to answers to the urgent questions of art educators, discussed the specifics of study programmes accreditation in art specialties, and deepened their knowledge in education quality assurance. The event took place on March 28 thanks to the coordinated work of the Odessa National A. V. Nezhdanova Academy of Music, NAQA and the State Agency of Ukraine for Arts and Art Education. Speakers of the webinar Olena Yeremenko, NAQA Vice Head, Lesia Smyrna, NAQA member , Oleh Bezborodko, member of the sectoral expert council 02 “Culture and Art” and Olena Khyl, Vice Rector for scientific and pedagogical work and information and innovation activities of Odesa National A. V. Nezhdanova Academy of Music talked about:
- problems and challenges of quality assurance in the process of external evaluation of study programmes in art specialties;
- features of accreditation of Doctor of Arts study programmes; formation of a high-quality study programme in specialty 025 “Musical art”;
- the internal system of higher education quality assurance in the Academy.
Olena Rossoshanska, Head of the State Agency for Art Education, gave a welcome speech before the question-and-answer session. Webinars for a specific education sector are an excellent opportunity to communicate directly with its representatives and take into account the peculiarities of the educational process when improving accreditation examinations.
