On 14 June, Olena Yeremenko and Ivan Nazarov participated in the forum “Education. Science. Business” that took place at V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University.
The forum was focused on the problem of interaction between education and science and business in the time of war and post-war reconstruction, the preservation of the intellectual potential of universities that work in difficult frontline conditions.
Olena Yeremenko emphasised the importance of cooperation between universities and employers in her presentation. She underlined the need for business to cooperate with universities now and at multiple levels.
Karazin University presented cases on:
– restoration of agricultural land and its demining;
– psychophysical recovery of military and civilians affected by hostilities;
– nuclear medicine;
– provision of drinking water;
– use of AI in management systems in order to restore economic activity of enterprises.
There were also presented projects for the renovation of the Botanical garden and the creation of a powerful science museum on the basis of an interactive science centre, LandauCentre.
Working together to ensure that Ukraine’s educational and scientific potential will become the key to the country’s post-war recovery!
