On 15 June, Ivan Nazarov took part in the conference “Academic Integrity in Higher Education: Challenges and Tools of Influence” held at the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.
This conference was focused on enhancing academic integrity among higher education institutions and creating a corruption-free educational environment. To achieve this, the conference brought together members of parliament, representatives of the NAPC, NABU, the educational ombudsman, heads of local governments and higher education institutions.
In his speech, Ivan Nazarov noted that academic integrity is a crucial component of the quality of educational activities. He defined the concept of academic integrity for the audience, including its regulatory framework. He also explained on what grounds and how NAQA forms the space of academic integrity. In addition, the speaker gave examples of court practice of NAQA’s participation in the formation of such a space. One of the main aspects of the speech was NAQA’s legislative initiatives in the field of academic integrity.
NAQA actively supports measures that promote the dissemination and implementation of the principles of academic integrity in the educational space of Ukraine.
