On September 15, NAQA, in collaboration with partners from the SoftServe company, conducted a working meeting dedicated to the issues of quality assurance of IT education in Ukraine.
NAQA head, Andrii Butenko noted that a crucial component of the higher education quality assurance is systematic cooperation with employers. Participants were engaged in active discussion and covered various topics, including the prospects of creating online programmes within higher education institutions, the role of employers in shaping study programmes, employer involvement in the higher education quality assurance, higher education in the IT sector, etc.
The engagement of employers in the educational process is a vital element in quality assurance. The meeting with SoftServe employees represents another step towards improving IT education in Ukraine that aligns with the demands of the leading players in the market.
