In the past week, online meetings of the newly elected sectoral expert councils (SECs) were held in the fields of knowledge 05 Social and behavioural sciences, 07 Management and administration, 03 Humanities, 12 Information technologies and 22 Health care.
The management and members of NAQA congratulated the newly elected colleagues, emphasizing the role and mission of such an expert platform as SEC, and the importance of dialogue with all stakeholders in the decision-making process. Oksana Trebenko, an experienced trainer of NAQA, held a webinar where she focused attention on the recommendations and requirements for the conclusions of SEC.
The peculiarity of SEC is that they unite academic staff, representatives of employers, applicants and international experts. The work of SEC is one of the stages of the accreditation procedure and is also a platform for discussing the benefits and potential of study programmes with representatives of higher education institutions.
