On November 2 and 3, the academic community of the Volyn and Rivne regions received a methodological training “Main trends in the development of the accreditation process and best practices of SEC.”
The event was organized by the International Educational Policy Research Foundation together with the Lutsk National Technical University, with the participation of the head of the secretariat and representatives of sectoral expert councils of NAQA.
The variety of activities, topical issues, interesting speakers and motivated participants created a good atmosphere for discussions and constructive conversations about the quality of higher education. Oleksandr Khymenko outlined the key ideas of innovations in the quality assurance system of higher education in Ukraine. He drew attention to the changes to the legislation on accreditation of study programs and academic integrity. Heads and members of the NAQA’s sectoral expert councils Iryna Udovyk, Larysa Shaulska, Georgy Dmytriev, Ihor Lyman and Taras Rak presented interesting cases on the accreditation of study programs, focusing on the best practices of their implementation.
