On November 10, Oleksandr Khymenko, took part in the scientific webinar “Academic Integrity in Sports Science”, which was organized by the Faculty of Health, Physical Education and Sports of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. The main goal of the event was to increase the level of awareness of teachers, applicants and young scientists regarding the principles of academic integrity in education and science.
In his speech, Oleksandr Khymenko talked about the concepts and types of violations of academic integrity, in particular, about the difference between the concepts of plagiarism and academic plagiarism. He spoke about the types of responsibility for violations and subjects of academic responsibility. Also, the topic of artificial intelligence and its influence on the quality of higher education, in the context of sports sciences, raised an active discussion among the webinar participants.
