On November 14-17, another meeting of participants of the Erasmus+ project “Simulation medicine and scenario-oriented learning” (SimS) took place where NAQA was represented by Andrii Butenko and Olena Yeremenko.
The heads of NAQA also held a meeting with the rector of the University of Santiago de Compostela (Kingdom of Spain) Antonio López Díaz, the vice-rector for internationalization Maria José López Couzo, project managers from the university. Spanish colleagues spoke about the university’s support for Ukrainian higher education institutions and educators, shared the experience of training students in medical study programs.
The key tasks of NAQA as a partner of the SimS project are to support the development of the course and its quality assurance strategy, to disseminate information about it at the national level in order to improve and update training in emergency medical care. In addition to conducting trainings on scenario training, dedicated to modelling, visualization and practice of clinical scenarios, special attention was paid to the psychological preparation of specialists for actions in critical situations.
These approaches are relevant today, during the war, it is obvious that they will be important in the postwar period.
