On December 21, Ukrainian educators discussed the topic “Dual Education: Best Practices and Implementation Challenges.” The event, organized by the IT company “SoftServe,” featured an open discussion format addressing pertinent issues related to the implementation of dual education. Topics included regulatory frameworks, major challenges, strategies for overcoming them, and successful case studies.
Experts in the field of education, including Vitalii Nosok, Volodymyr Bakhrushyn, Yurii Rashkevych, Taras Rak, Viktor Voloshyn (Rector of “IT STEP University”), Oleksandr Aziukovskyi (Rector of NTU “Dnipro Polytechnic”), and Iryna Udovyk (Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies, NTU “Dnipro Polytechnic”), along with representatives from SoftServe, Andrii Peremyibida, and Andrii Butenko, NAQA Head, participated in the discussion.
During the event, Andrii Butenko emphasized the importance of successful collaboration between universities and employers to ensure the quality of higher education. He highlighted the distinctions between the concepts of practice-oriented learning and dual education. In the concluding part of the meeting, speakers addressed questions that were of particular concern to educators interested in implementing dual education.
