Updating the approaches and legal regulation of the higher education quality assurance system is a priority for the state and Ukraine’s European integration.
To determine the strategic directions in the implementation of new approaches and the need for legislative changes, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk met with the Head of NAQA Andrii Butenko.
The parties discussed the development of a unified policy and comprehensive legal regulation of the education quality assurance system.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasised the importance of creating a culture of academic integrity and regulating the procedures for ensuring it. This is what the draft Law “On Academic Integrity” envisages.
