On 12 April, the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv hosted an All-Ukrainian roundtable on institutional accreditation.
Rector of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv Volodymyr Melnyk, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mychailo Wynnyckyj and NAQA Head Andrii Butenko made welcoming speeches.
Speakers prompted a lively open discussion, where all participants had the opportunity to exchange views and offer their own vision of the purpose and procedure of institutional accreditation.
The roundtable was moderated by Andrii Butenko and the speakers: Mychailo Wynnyckyj, NAQA Vice Head Nataliia Stukalo, President of the International Foundation for Educational Policy Research Taras Finikov, NAQA Vice Head Olena Yeremenko and Vice-Rector of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv Vitalii Kukharskyi, outlined the prospects, problems and challenges of introducing institutional accreditation in Ukraine.
The event was held in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, the International Foundation for Educational Policy Research and the International Educational and Research Project “Innovative University and Leadership”.
