“Modern education should be both practice-oriented and student-centred, and should meet the needs of the employer, student and university, that is, everyone should get a great and correct result from this cooperation. Therefore, we look forward to further cooperation and expansion of this project,” said Oleksandr Khymenko, Head of the NAQA’s Secretariat, who was the first to join the welcoming speech at the opening of the new season of the IT Disciplines Certification System project by Kharkiv IT Cluster.
Iryna Zolotaryova, NAQA Board member and a member of the project’s expert group was the next to deliver a welcoming speech, in which she noted: Now Kharkiv IT Cluster is an incredible environment, an inspiring environment, a very active, progressive and open environment that supports both pupils, students and teachers, that is, the number of activities is incredible”.
On 18 April, this online event brought together representatives of IT companies, university administrations, IT teachers, and IT specialists to hear about opportunities to improve the quality of IT education in Ukraine, find out the details of the updated format of the IT Disciplines Certification System project, discuss its key stages and timelines, and learn how to fill out the syllabus form.
