On 22 May, NAQA joined a regular meeting of the Global Academic Integrity Network (GAIN).

The important issues of today’s discussions were contract cheating and academic integrity among students. Professor Cath Ellis, UNSW Sydney, Australia, together with and Kane Murdoch, Macquarie University, and Jason Stephens, Associate Professor, presented their research on this topic.
Participants also discussed possible strategies to encourage students to participate more responsibly and actively in academic integrity surveys, and considered ways to expand GAIN community to facilitate the exchange of new ideas and practices.
