On the night of November 11, the terrorist country once again attacked Zaporizhzhia with aerial bombs. The shelling damaged residential buildings, including a dormitory building and a sports complex of the National University Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic.
These actions once again emphasize russia’s cynicism and immorality. Among the victims are students of Zaporizhzhia Polytechnic and their displaced relatives. Eyewitnesses report that the explosion took them by surprise when most of the dormitory residents were already asleep. The nighttime attack destroyed the heating and water supply systems and smashed 200 windows. As a result, the dormitory is not fit for life and the sports complex lost its functionality.
The management of the institution emphasized the critical need to restore the infrastructure, as it affects not only the quality and continuity of the educational process, but also the living conditions of people from the temporarily occupied territories.
NAQA expresses its sincere condolences to the victims and their families. This case is yet another confirmation of the barbaric nature of russia and proof of the resilience of Ukrainians and their desire to continue their education.
