Students are key stakeholders and, at the same time, integral participants in the development of the internal system of higher education quality assurance. These and other issues were discussed at the XX UAS General Assembly, which took place on December 6-8 in Kyiv. The main purpose of the event was to approve the strategic directions of the Association’s activities, elect a new executive committee and discuss topical issues of student self-government and educational policy.
In his speech at the panel discussion ‘Reformation of Student Self-Government Bodies: New Challenges and Opportunities’, NAQA Head Andrii Butenko stressed that cooperation with stakeholders, the main ones being students, remains a priority for NAQA and emphasised the importance of their participation in the development of internal higher education quality assurance systems.
