On this day, three years ago russia began its full-scale aggressive war against Ukraine – peaceful, free, European country.
For 1096 days Ukrainians have been fighting for their right to life and freedom against the aggressor’s attempts to take this right away with force.
The enemy consciously targets Ukrainian education, because it aims to destroy Ukraine’s future. Universities in the frontline area that are forced to work remotely and from shelters, teachers and students who have to study, realizing that every air raid is a real threat. To date, 122 higher education institutions destroyed or partially damaged by rockets, bombs, drones hitting their building. 44 HEIs are relocated. More than 150 teachers and scientists killed. Only according to preliminary data, 599 Ukrainian children killed and 1762 wounded as a result of russian attacks.
Now, the security of Europe and justice around the world depend on whether those who fight against injustice will be supported and whether the guilty will be punished. Because evil that goes unpunished always returns.
