NAQA Head took part in the conference “Master’s Education in Ukraine: Expectations VS Reality in the Context of Global Challenges,” which was held in Lviv with the support of the IT company SoftServe and the IT STEP University.
During the event, Andrii Butenko emphasised the importance of cooperation between employers and universities in the development of study programmes and the need for higher education institutions to focus on training highly specialised professionals:
“Cooperation between employers and educators is extremely important, because without it, education becomes a mere formality. Through synergy, socially responsible businesses and quality-oriented universities can achieve truly remarkable results.”
Conference participants discussed the adaptation of modern higher education standards to labour market demands, along with other pressing issues related to the design of Master’s programmes. Particular attention was paid to the importance of financing Master’s programmes through state support and business involvement.
