Over the past year, the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance conducted 2,592 accreditation procedures.
More than a thousand study programmes successfully received accreditation. A total of 1,452 study programmes were granted conditional accreditation. Among these, 1,307 underwent the accreditation process free of charge under the simplified procedure in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 295 dated 16 March 2022.
The status of conditional accreditation indicates the university’s potential for development and the enhancement of its educational capacity.
Transparency and well-balanced decision-making remain key priorities for NAQA. As a result, 53 cases were returned for revision by Sectoral Expert Councils, and three programmes underwent re-accreditation. Refusal of accreditation remains a last resort, and only three such cases were recorded last year.
It is especially worth highlighting 17 study programmes that received accreditation with the distinction of “exemplary,” confirming their outstanding quality and high level of implementation.
