On May 15, 2025, the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance held an All-Ukrainian professional seminar on quality assurance in higher education for the specialty A2/012 “Preschool Education” at the premises of the Ukrainian State University named after Mykhailo Drahomanov.
The event gathered approximately 100 representatives of higher education institutions in person and over 200 participants online. The seminar speakers included NAQA Vice Head Olena Yeremenko, Head of the Accreditation of Educational Programmes Department Hanna Denyskina, and Chair of the Sectoral Expert Council 01 “Education” Kateryna Ostrovska. Olena Polovina, Head of the Department of Preschool Education at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv Metropolitan University, also shared her experience.
During the seminar, participants discussed the challenges of quality assurance in the training of applicants for the specialty A2/012 “Preschool Education”, specific features of educational programme accreditation, and the role of internal quality assurance systems in enhancing the performance of higher education institutions.
