On May 22, representatives of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance took part in a workshop focused on academic integrity and the use of advanced technologies to detect plagiarism, particularly in the context of the growing impact of artificial intelligence on students’ academic works.
The discussion addressed current approaches to identifying academic plagiarism, digital tools for ensuring the quality of academic texts, and the importance of cultivating a culture of integrity in Ukrainian higher education. The event was attended by specialists of the Academic Integrity and One-time Councils’ Operation Department, led by Head Leontii Shypilov.
The workshop was held in Lviv and organised by Plagiat.pl in Ukraine. Participants included representatives from higher education institutions across different regions of the country.
Such initiatives are essential for consolidating the efforts of the academic community in countering unethical practices and ensuring high-quality and transparent education.
