The National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance presents the teaching and methodological manual “Higher Education Quality Assurance in Ukraine” (authors: A. Butenko, O. Yeremenko, O. Knysh, A. Surai, O. Trebenko).
The manual is based on the NAQA’s experience in training experts. Its purpose is to provide experts with systematic and practical knowledge for the professional, ethical and responsible performance of their duties.
The publication reveals the conceptual foundations of external quality assurance in Ukraine, the mechanisms for implementing ESG 2015 and the NAQA role in developing a modern system of quality assurance in higher education in Ukraine. It highlights the practical aspects of study programmes accreditation: the procedure, stages of expert assessment, application of the Criteria for Assessing the Quality of the Study Programme, requirements for the expert panel report, and the principles of academic integrity of the expert.
The guide is intended for candidates for inclusion in the NAQA’s Register of Experts. It will also be useful for teachers, researchers, students, administrative staff of higher education institutions – anyone interested in issues of quality assurance in higher education in Ukraine.
