Participation of NAQA representatives in the study visit of the Erasmus+ project ALMEX

From 16 to 20 March, Nataliia Stukalo, NAQA Vice Head, and Oleksandr Khymenko, Head of Secretariat, took part in a study visit as part of the Erasmus+ project ‘Alumni Management Excellence: Building University Capacity for Sustainable Graduate Engagement’ (ALMEX), which took place at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

NAQA representatives shared their experience of involving alumni in external quality assurance procedures and also met with the Ukrainian diaspora in the Netherlands. Following the meeting, colleagues reached agreements on more actively involving representatives of the diaspora in NAQA register of international experts, which will help to strengthen cooperation and improve the quality of education in Ukraine.

During the study visit, participants familiarised themselves with European practices for working with graduates – from building effective alumni communities and fundraising to the use of CRM systems and the development of university start-up ecosystems. During the meeting, the project partners also discussed the progress of the work packages and identified the next steps for implementing ALMEX.
