On 18 March, a training was held for NAQA international experts, aimed at strengthening their role in external quality assurance procedures for higher education.
The training was organised on the initiative of Ian Welch, NAQA Advisory Board member. Nataliia Stukalo, NAQA Vice Head, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. The event was attended by members of the Advisory Board, who acted as key speakers and moderators for the programme. Among those involved in delivering the training were Anca Prisacariu, Ian Welch, Irine Darchia and Olgun Çiçek, as well as NAQA trainers Oxana Trebenko and Olena Knysh.
The programme covered key issues regarding the involvement of international experts in higher education quality assurance procedures, approaches to conducting external reviews, and practical case studies of study programme evaluations. Particular attention was paid to engagement with stakeholders in the context of ESG, the role of international experts in the Ukrainian evaluation system, and their contribution to the implementation of best international practices and the formulation of recommendations based on international experience.
