On 27 March, a regional round table organised by NAQA was held in Odesa on the topic “Specifics of Implementing the Law of Ukraine ‘On Academic Integrity’ in the Educational Process”, which took place at the National University “Odesa Law Academy”.
Representatives of higher education institutions in the region, specialists in the field of quality assurance in education, academics and experts focused on current aspects of the development of academic integrity in Ukraine, in particular the integration of the principles of academic integrity into internal quality assurance systems, issues regarding the improvement of procedures for the award and revocation of academic degrees, and the overall regulatory framework in this area.
Participants showed particular interest in issues of digital ethics, the standardisation of approaches to fostering a culture of academic integrity, and the exchange of practical recommendations.
