On 26 March, Andrii Butenko, NAQA Head, took part in a conference of pilot higher education institutions involved in the Ukrainian-Swiss project “Medical Education Development” on the topic ‘Building Capacity and Synergies in Higher Medical Education Institutions’.
In his speech, ‘Issues of Academic Integrity in Medical Higher Education Institutions’, Andrii Butenko highlighted the key principles of the Law of Ukraine ‘On Academic Integrity’, the powers of NAQA regarding the appeal of decisions and the consideration of complaints related to breaches of academic integrity, as well as the issue of breaches of academic integrity in academic texts within the field of “Healthcare”.
