On 7 May, a panel discussion “How Universities Integrate into Urban and Economic Processes” took place at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture as part of an employers’ forum, with the participation of Andrii Butenko, NAQA Head.
During the discussion, participants unanimously emphasised that a modern university can no longer exist as a closed ecosystem, but must become an open platform for ongoing dialogue between the state, business, local communities and the scientific community. Involving such a wide range of stakeholders allows not only for study programmes to be adapted to the real demands of the labour market, but also for higher education institutions to be transformed into powerful centres of urban development and innovation.
