Scientific and Expert Conference: “A Mosaic of Experiences: An International Dialogue on Resilience”

On 21 August, the scientific and expert conference “A Mosaic of Experiences: An International Dialogue on Resilience” took place, marking the start of the programme for the Sixth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, “World 2026: Finding Stability in Times of Uncertainty”. Olena Yeremenko, Vice Head of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, took part in the event. The event took place on the territory of the National Preserve “Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra”.

The event was organised by the Coordination Centre for Mental Health of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as part of the All-Ukrainian mental health programme “How Are You?”, initiated by First Lady Olena Zelenska, in collaboration with the Institute for National Resilience and Security and with the support of the World Health Organisation (WHO).

During the conference, over 200 Ukrainian and international academics, government officials and civil society leaders explored practical tools for overcoming crisis situations, building inner strength, the importance of mutual trust and the capacity of communities to organise themselves.

The topic of resilience is extremely relevant to higher education in the face of constant challenges. Today, higher education institutions not only shape the country’s academic potential but also serve as an environment where mental fortitude is forged, trust is nurtured, and the community’s ability to adapt to change is fostered.
