On February 23, NAQA Vice Head, Olena Yeremenko, spoke as part of the training programme “The role of guarantors of study programmes in the development of the internal system of ensuring education quality” at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
NAQA representative delivered the topic “Problematic issues of the functioning and improvement of study programmes (based on the materials of accreditation cases)”. Olena Yeremenko emphasized that the internal system of ensuring education quality should be based on honest self-analysis, including monitoring and surveys. She noted the need to form a source base on modern literature and the impracticality of using literature in the russian language. The speaker talked in detail about the stages of formation, implementation and improvement of study programmes, the importance and convenience of using the matrix at all stages, the logic of the study programme’s structure, etc.
NAQA sincerely hopes that the analysis of real examples of accreditation cases will be useful in improving study programmes.
