Compliance with European quality assurance standards in higher education involves processes of institutional accreditation. To delve into its implementation within the context of higher education external quality assurance in the European education area, Olena Yeremenko and Iryna Simshah participated in the kick-off session of the accreditation commission at the Estonian agency HAKA, hosted by the Estonian Aviation Academy.
During the meeting, Liia Lauri, a representative of HAKA, presented on Estonian quality assurance system and institutional accreditation in particular. In Estonia, the aim of institutional accreditation is to support the development of strategic management, a culture of quality, and an orientation towards creativity and innovation in the educational and scientific processes of higher education institutions.
For the successful and effective implementation of institutional accreditation in Ukraine, NAQA actively collaborates with colleagues and institutions that possess relevant experience.
