“Integrity, Open Science, and Artificial Intelligence in Academic Circles and Beyond: Meeting at the Crossroads” international conference took place on December 15. The event brought together educators and researchers from foreign and Ukrainian higher education institutions, research institutions, and other organizations. The conference was conducted within the frameworks of the Jean Monnet Modules “With Academic Integrity to EU Values: Step by Step to Common Europe” and “OSEE – Open Science and Education in Europe: Success Stories for Ukrainian Academia,” with the support of the European Union.
Speakers included Veronika Krasnichan, the Executive Director of the European Network for Academic Integrity (ENAI), and Sebastian Dale, the President of the European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers (EURODOC). NAQA collaborated with ENAI, EURODOC, and other stakeholders promoting academic integrity in the educational and scientific environment to organize the conference.
Artem Artiukhov, the Head of the Committee on Ethics of NAQA, moderated the conference, emphasizing the crucial role of foreign and national partners in shaping the culture of quality and integrity in the Ukrainian educational space. Nataliia Stukalo, NAQA Vice Head, highlighted the Agency’s commitment to promoting academic integrity in the Ukrainian educational environment, guided by the Standards and Recommendations for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG-2015).
